Accrued provides online bookkeeping and financial reporting services, including transaction categorization, account reconciliation, and monthly financial statements. Specific services are outlined in your service plan or agreement with us.
3. Not Legal, Tax, or Investment Advice
Our bookkeeping and reporting services are not a substitute for legal, tax, or investment advice. You should consult a licensed attorney, CPA, or financial advisor for advice specific to your situation.
4. Client Responsibilities
To provide our services, we rely on you to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and timely information and documentation
- Grant necessary access to relevant accounts and systems
- Promptly respond to requests for clarification
We are not responsible for errors or delays resulting from incomplete or inaccurate information provided by you.
5. Fees and Payment
Services are billed monthly according to your selected plan. Plans are month-to-month with no long-term contract, and may be canceled with 30 days' written notice. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
6. Confidentiality
We treat your financial and business information as confidential and will not disclose it except as necessary to provide our services, as described in our Privacy Policy, or as required by law.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Accrued will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the fees you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate services at any time in accordance with the notice period in your plan. Upon termination, we will provide reasonable assistance transitioning your records.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Accrued is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
